Is it necessary a course for becoming a Fifa Agent?
In this practical guide we are going to fare chiarezza sulla figura dell’Agente FIFA, detto anche procuratore sportivo, del corso per Agente FIFA o del percorso che queste figure sono solite perseguire, vedendo quello che è il suo ruolo nel dettaglio e paragonandolo ad un’altra figura essenziale nel mondo del calcio, ossia l’osservatore calcistico.

What precisely does an FIFA Agent do?
The Fifa Agent is one who looks after the interests of a football player. After getting the athlete’s approval to be represented by his new agent, his job is first to find a contract for his client with an Italian or international professional team.

Durante la vita sportiva del giocatore ci saranno esigenze specifiche da adempiere, come, ad esempio, accordi commerciali di aziende terze (es. sponsorizzazioni pubblicitarie), sfruttamento dei diritti di immagine, consulenza fiscale e legale.
So the prosecutor or Fifa Agent is it an lawyer?
Not necessarily. A juridical background can help a lot, but it is not fundamental. The football agent performes all those legal and bureaucratic assistance functions which a football player may need.
What does the football scout do?
The scout often collaborates with the football agent. They are two different roles that sometimes merge into one.
The scout is a court expert. It means that the observer, unlike the FIFA agent, is dedicated to the selection of new talent, which will then, with the help of a FIFA agent, be presented to professional teams. It is a kind of anticipatory work compared to that of the agent.
